Umuganura

Umuganura also called the National Harvest Day or Thanksgiving Day is the traditional feast celebrating the first harvest of the year, and a platform to assess the harvest and finding ways of increasing harvest for the coming year. To add more, Umuganura is an annual event held on the first Friday of August and it is a public holiday. But the festival is celebrated during a week leading to the Umuganura day.
